Due to my background Schutzhund Training plays a major part in my Training Program . Schutzhund is a very demanding competition sport. Speed and precision are just cruicial if you want to compete on a high level. The dog needs to be very highly motivated to achieve the needed attitude.
Because of the high demands of Schutzhund most of the training is development and promotion of Drives and confidence. Too often aspiring trainers rush too fast into it, especially in the protection phase, before the dog is mentally ready to progress.
Schutzhund is a three phase sport where Tracking, Obedience and Protection are all of equal importance. The most successful Schutzhund dogs will show a positive attitude in all phases and my motivational methods will help you to achieve this.
